So I'm FINALLY here!! I can't believe it!! The time went by so fast and I am so excited for this experience!! And I'm running on ya you guessed it 15 minutes of sleep so I'll be instantly dying tonight. But life is good...this place is beautiful and is already even better than what I imagined. San Ignacio is amazing (pic above) and I can already tell this group is going to be so fun! I kind of maybe got stranded at the airport for a while cuz my arrival time that the directors were given was wrong so that was fun. I definitely had a slight panic attack especially when the airport was about to close AND every single male worker offered to give me a ride home...creepy yes. I had no phone or calling card so I was wandering around trying to find someone to lend me their phone and I soon found a tender man who helped me out to let the directors know to come! It all worked out and I made it to the house safe and sound! We had the best taxi driver ever who was teaching us his favorite sayings in Creole. My personal favorite: "hold it down man" which means just calm down or chill out. I obviously really enjoyed it. Anyways...can't wait to see what goes down tomorrow! Love to all! <3
